About Me

My name is Michele “Shelly” Hamilton. That is where Shamilton originated. I am a nurse by day. The Covid crisis caused our center to shut down for a short time. I was “home schooling” my son and granddaughter during this time. I would help them with art projects and It was then that I discovered my talent with watercolors. I first experimented with flowers and loved it. One day my husband challenged me to paint Reagan, one of our boxer fur babies. What a surprise! It took me 50 years to realize that I could paint animals in watercolor! I have found my silver lining of the Covid outbreak and I couldn’t be happier. I find it very relaxing painting and I absolutely LOVE being able to give people happiness in seeing their beloved pets painted in watercolor!! I would be honored to do that for you!
